Red face flex a lite 220 works great

Metric sent me a thread on the flex a lite 325 eclipse dual fans. If you look at the pics, this guy cut out the fan shroud to install the lower radiator hose. I bought a flx 220r and installed without macking the ugly cut out. The 220 hangs over a 1/4 inch on each side but fits perfectlly if you cut the sides flush with the radiator fins. I then used the six provided through core mounts. I would like to leave pictures of the install but unsure how? The 220 is cheaper and looks better, works ausome with the factory wiring. I soldered a jumper between the two sensors so both fans kick in at 2500 cfm and the condensor fan pushing. Runs cool on a hot florida day with the a/c on at a stop light.

220, small problem

I took many pics and will send, but only know how to send to an e-mail. I noticed the 19.5 amps this fan draws creates a problem at night with lights on, fans on and a/c on. during day it was fine but our 65 amp altenator cannot keep up with this amp draw and is slowly killing my battery and putting a strain on the small altenator. there is a 100 amp remanufactered alt on e-bay for 89.00. thinking of doing this instead of the gm modified braket,100 amp setup.
