The later part of the month would be better for me personally...as you already know, my car needs some work prior to the meet...gotta buy me some time. Any time in June would be cool too.
What do mean by "track"?...are we talking K1 go-karts or Buttonwillow? I'm open to either. I've been to K1 several times now...way fun. $20 bucks a session.
For me, food is optional. BBQ tastes good, but it's a pain in the butt.
It would be awesome to finally go to a Meet! Also, a track would be awesome but pricey and pizza is always easy!
I agree...as much as would LOVE to hit a real track, a "real" track would be pricey!...that's why I brought up K1speed go-Karts. Not to hi-jack this...just thought it was a good idea is all.
Just like to bring it out that about 1 month ago they opend a track called adams raceway here in socal used to be a go kart track but on tuesdays and quote i might be wrong because they change days tuesdays they let you time attack and thursday are drift nights 20 dollars to run and quote i might be wrong but thats what i been hearing i have not ran a car on that track yet its off the 60 ill try to get more details on it but might be a good place to have the meet maybe.
If you are involved with the KDM site then more then likely you will be invited. Those who are in the shadows we cant see.
We would like to have you at the meet provided we know who you are. Having 20 Honduh guys show up and crash your meet would blow.

Me (Carl) and some of the nor cal guys went to the first meet and we had a good time. I'm just dont post on the comp too much. I do have an 89 which i just got out of paint and a new motor as well. I am still piecing it together. Me and some of the Nor cal guys wouldnt mind taking a ride down there to the meet. I think I should be running in about a month. I like the month of June, but thats just me personally. I still have to get dialed in. I will post pics as soon as I finish it.

I'm in LA during the first weekend of June for a family event, I am sure I could squeeze away for a day or add another day to the trip if it's around then.

I'd be coming from Tucson, AZ :) The plans might be on hold now, thanks to state funding cuts to CPS services that are going to hit my income hard.
Tucson's quite a trek!...I was there on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday...I'm in Phoenix until tomorrow night...it's friggin hot out here! If you do come out, you might wanna make a weekend out of it...see the sights etc.
