This is a sweet piece. I always admire mine sitting on my bench and curse myself for not getting my project together. Too many problems so the Starion has to suffer. I'm hoping for time to get to it this spring. I'm always finding more that I should replace or rebuild before I get the motor back in.

couple things, 1) isnt it 8770 part number? and 2) the 9116pt is FAR better than the 8770. Is this 8870 u mention a different one altogether? just tryin to clarify a possible error if it is since no one else noticed.

I edited that, thanks for bringing that to my attention. You cannot use the 9116pt due to the cylinder rings touching, the 8770's do not touch

Let me get this straight..are you talking about one head that had the heavy mods for $2650 or are you saying you are making them available to those with a need for max power?
What are the inner springs sitting on?
If they are sitting just on the aluminum head they will tear the aluminum up.

Yes the head is $2650 shipped. The inner spring "IF" used sits on the spring shim also. Not on the aluminum.
